The Union Square station on the Deira side of the Dubai Creek, serves both government and commercial areas including the Dubai Municipality's Health Centre, the Dubai Economic Department, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Dubai Lands Department. It is also an easy access point for commuters from Sharjah and Ajman. a transfer point between the Red and Green lines.
