There are lifts and ramps as well as spaces for wheelchairs in each compartment of the train. In addition, the trains have tactical guide paths and Braille for the blind.
Dubai Metro stations will have several retail outlets, including a convenience store in each station.
Each station has public washroom and toilet facilities.
All metro stations and trains will have wi-fi internet access.
Metro commuters can park their cars at designated Metro stations for free. Park and Ride is offered at Rashidiya Station, and Nakheel Harbour and Tower Station on the Red Line (3000 car parks each), and Etisalat Station on the Green Line (6000 car parks).
There will be a charge of AED 10 per hour or AED 50 per day for anyone who parks and is NOT using the metro.
Bicyles will not be allowed inside metro trains or stations. Many stops will have places to park and lock your bicyles outside the station..
Only registered seeing eye dogs guiding the blind will be allowed on Metro trains.

The Dubai metro trains are driverless and operate via a fully automated network. Trained wardens will be present on all trains to assist in case of emergencies. The state of the art trains have been manufactured by a Japanese company, Kindi Sharyo.
